Power supply: infrared sensor is powered by 4AA alkaline batteries(not included) which can last for 2 years for family use. The batteries should be installed in the battery box(on the top of the faucet body). You have to prepare 4AA batteries in advance. When the sensor light keeps flashing, it means you have to replace new batteries.
Water temperature adjustable: faucet comes with 2pcs American standard cold and hot water supply hoses. Adjust water temperature by switching the small handle on the faucet body. Turn left for more hot water, turn right for cold water.
